This Was Forwarded To Me! PLEASE READ IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR FAMILY'S SAFETY!
Juval Aviv was the Israeli Agent upon whom the movie _Munich was based.
He was Golda Meir's bodyguard -- she appointed him to track down and bring to justice the Palestinian terrorists who took the Israeli athletes hostage and killed them during the Munich Olympic Games. In a lecture in New York City a few weeks ago, he shared information that EVERY American needs to know -- but that our government has not yet shared with us.
He predicted the London subway bombing on the Bill O'Reilly show on Fox News stating publicly that it would happen within a week. At the time, O'Reilly laughed and mocked him saying that in a week he wanted him back on the show. But, unfortunately, within a week the terrorist attack had occurred.
Juval Aviv gave intelligence (via what he had gathered in Israel and the
Middle East) to the Bush Administration about 9/11 a
month before it
occurred. His report specifically said they would use planes as bombs
and target high profile buildings and monuments. Congress has since
hired him as a security consultant.

Now for his future predictions.
He predicts the next
terrorist attack on
the U.S. will occur within the next few months.
Forget hijacking airplanes, because he says terrorists will NEVER try
and hijack a plane again as they know the people on board will never go
down quietly again. Aviv believes our airport security is a joke -- that
we have been reactionary rather than proactive in developing strategies
that are truly effective.
For example:
1) Our airport technology is outdated. We look for metal, and the new
explosives are made of plastic.
2) He talked about how some idiot tried to light his shoe on fire.
Because of that, now everyone has to take off their shoes. A group of
idiots tried to bring aboard liquid explosives. Now we can't bring
liquids on board. He says he's waiting for some suicidal maniac to pour liquid explosive on his underwear; at which point, security will have us
all traveling naked! Every strategy we have is reactionary.
3) We only focus on security when people are heading to the gates. Aviv
says that if a terrorist attack targets airports in the future, they
will target busy times on the front end of the airport when/where people
are checking in. It would be easy for someone to take two suitcases of
explosives, walk up to a busy check-in line, ask a person next to them
to watch their bags for a minute while they run to the restroom or get a
drink, and then detonate the bags BEFORE security even gets involved. In
Israel, security checks bags BEFORE people can even ENTER the airport.
Aviv says the next terrorist attack here in America is imminent and will
involve suicide bombers and non-suicide bombers in places where large
groups of people congregate; (i.e. Disneyland, Las Vegas casinos, big
cities like New York, San Francisco, Chicago, etc.- and that it will
also include shopping malls, subways in rush hour, train stations, etc.,
as well as rural America this time (Wyoming, Montana, etc.).
The attack will be characterized by simultaneous detonations around the
country (terrorists like big impact), involving at least 5-8 cities,
including rural areas.
Aviv says terrorists won't need to use suicide bombers in many of the
larger cities, because at places like the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, they
can simply valet park a car loaded with explosives and walk away. Aviv
says all of the above is well known in intelligence circles, but that our U. S. government does not want to alarm American citizens' with the
facts. The world is quickly going to become "a different place," and
issues like "global warming" and political correctness will become
totally irrelevant.
On an encouraging note, he says that Americans don't have to be concerned about being nuked. Aviv says the terrorists who want to
destroy America will not use sophisticated weapons. They like to use
suicide as a front-line approach. It's cheap, it's easy, it's effective;
and they have an infinite abundance of young militants more than willing
to "meet their destiny."
He also says the next level of terrorists, over which America should be
most concerned, will not be coming from abroad. But will be, instead,
"homegrown"-- having attended and been educated in our own schools and
universities right here in the U.S. He says to look
for "students" who
frequently travel back and forth to the Middle East ... these young
terrorists will be most dangerous because they will know our language
and will fully understand the
habits of Americans; but that we Americans won't know/understand a thing
about them. Aviv says that, as a people, Americans are unaware and
uneducated about the terrorist threats we will, inevitably, face.
America still has only have a handful of Arabic and Farsi speaking
people in our intelligence networks, and Aviv says it is critical that
we change that fact
SOON.
So, what can America do to protect itself? From an intelligence
perspective, Aviv says the U.S. needs to stop relying on satellites and
technology for intelligence. We need to, instead, follow Israel's,
Ireland's and England's hands-on examples of human intelligence, both
from an infiltration perspective as well as to trust "aware" citizens to
help. We need to engage and educate ourselves as citizens; however, our
U.S. government continues to treat us, its citizens, "like babies." Our
government thinks we "can't handle the truth" and are concerned that
we'll panic if we understand the realities of terrorism. Aviv says this
is a deadly mistake.
Aviv recently created/executed a security test for our Congress, by
placing an empty briefcase in five well-traveled spots in five major
cities. The results? Not one person called 911 or sought a policeman to
check it out. In fact, in Chicago, someone even tried to steal the
briefcase!
In comparison, Aviv says that citizens of Israel are so well "trained"
that an unattended bag or package would be reported in seconds by
citizen(s) who know to publicly shout, "Unattended Bag!" The area would
be quickly & calmly cleared by the citizens themselves. But,
unfortunately, America hasn't been yet "hurt enough" by terrorism for
their government to fully understand the need to educate its citizens or
for the government to understand that it's their citizens who are,
inevitably, the best first-line of defense against terrorism.
Aviv also was concerned about the high number of children here in
America who were in preschool and kindergarten after 9/11, who were
"lost" without parents being able to pick them up, and about our schools
that had no plan in place to best care for the students until parents
could get there. (In New York City, this was days, in
some cases!)
He stresses the importance of having a plan, that's agreed upon within
your family, to respond to in the event of a terrorist emergency. He
urges parents to contact their children's schools and demand that the
schools, too, develop plans of actions, as they do in Israel.
Does your family know what to do if you can't contact one another by
phone? Where would you gather in an emergency? He says we should all
have a plan that is easy enough for even our youngest children to
remember and follow.
Aviv says that the U.S. government has in force a plan that, in the
event of another terrorist attack, will immediately cut-off EVERYONE's
ability to use cell phones, blackberries, etc., as
this is the preferred
communication source used by terrorists and is often the way that their
bombs are detonated..
How will you communicate with your loved ones in the event you cannot
speak? You need to have a plan.

Paranoid paranoid. IF you become so paranoid that you're always looking for the next bomb, for the next danger, the terrorists have won. Which isn't to say you shouldn't be vigilant. Always ask questions. Always. But fear is what they want. If you're so afraid of what they might do, whoever the "they" might be that day, it's all over.

Post 3 by SunshineAndRain (I'm happily married, a mom of two and a fulltime college student.) on Friday, 08-May-2009 22:50:33

The message I got was that we needed to be prepared and to have a planif an attack did occur. I may have made the topic's title sound more dramatic than was necessary, I'll give you that, but I'm certainly not afraid and neither should anyone else be. It's just something to create a sense of awareness and prepare us for something that is liable to happen in our country whether it's tomorrow or in the next decade.

Post 4 by SEPTEMBER-TWILIGHT (CAN I TALK? PLEASE?) on Saturday, 09-May-2009 9:53:40

I totally agree with Sunshine here. We really should be prepared for the worse case scenario. I mean, some people might flip out and get all paranoyed and stuff. BUt better safe than sorry, especially in this day in age.

Post 5 by Sword of Sapphire (Whether you agree with my opinion or not, you're still gonna read it!) on Saturday, 09-May-2009 22:21:33

Minh, I agree with you. Americans are so used to hearing about terrorist attacks in other countries, but we can't imagine any of that occurring all over the place over here. I'll bet that very few, if any, families have a plan in place if something like this were to happen. I know mine doesn't.
It's always nice to be precautious and think ahead, but come on! This is the U.S. We don't cross bridges till we come to them. I'll be surprised and proud of the country if anyone takes action according to this man's predictions.

I'm not laughign in teh face of danger but I do too prepair. Example, I mentally map out the building to know where the exits are everyware I travel. This has saved me dozens of times. I also adopt the montra, "trust noone."

Ok people, don't forget your bags anywhere, lest you cause a bmomb squad to come and investigate it. and maybe those annoying push-to-talk phones aren't such a bad idea... hmm.

Post 8 by Harp (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Saturday, 09-May-2009 23:50:50

First things first, that message, purportedly put together based on the lecturing of Juval Aviv is a hoax. There are a few bits of truth in it but much of it is lies. Feel free to Google it if you don't wish to take my word for it, there's plenty out there. It's an email that has apparently been in circulation for a couple of years now.

Also were it the truth, what kind of a warning would this actually be exactly? We're told that terrorists might attack at some point in the not too distant future, but very vague as to actually when. (So anytime between now and the Christmas after next, possibly. That's definitely helpful.) We're told that they might use suicide bombers but they might not. (Wow really? Who'd have thought it?) Oh and that the attacks will take place in large cities or rural areas. (Gosh, which am I suppose to hide under? A cow or a multi-story parking lot...) So in essence then this highly specific warning is letting us all know that somebody may attack at some point somewhere. Goodness, with intelligence such as this to work from we really should feel safe in our homes! The government, with this experts help, are clearly just inches away from nabbing the buggers!

Also in my research I could find no proof that Juval Aviv ever predicted the London bombings on the Bill O'Reilly show just a week before the event. I'll not say it didn't happen, but if it did, it's being extremely well hidden now. On a more flippant note though, if he had have known about the London bombings, had enough information at his disposal to say what was going to happen, where it was going to happen and, within a week, when it was going to happen, then surely he should have known a little detail like, we call it the underground not the subway.

There is also no evidence to back up the claim that Aviv reported to the US government before 911 warning them of what was coming. That's no report at all, never mind one so specific as to the mode of transport being used and the types of targets likely to be hit.

Don't misunderstand me here, I think there is much in this hoax that is sensible, certainly a countries citizens for example are it's best form of first defense. No argument at all. Never the less large parts of this email are actually falsified. What the agenda for these falsifications is who can say. Possibly this is nothing more than a scaremongering project for somebody, in which event, it worked. LOL.

Dan.

Even if this e-mail was an exaggeration, it correctly pointed out many points. First, it hints our security, and in some cases individual plans are weak. What's wrong with that? It's true. I also think our foreign policies are weak. Why the hell are we even sitting down at tea with these horrible bastards? Islam is a threat, and Prezbo needs to realize. They are playing a game, stop pretending that we are best friends with Iranians. Really, they are the bitches who bombed us in the first place. Now, you want to sit down with them and act like old pals? They don't want to be pals, they are playing along for the benefit. They want power, and by doing this, we are giving them power. They should all be dead. We need to crush them, and wipe them out.
FDR after Pearl Harbor went to crush and fight Japan. Franklin Roosevelt was smart enough not to just sit down and have tea with them and chat it out. We crushed them. we fought them in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Today, we are fairly friendly with Japan and we also crushed Germany, and we are also good with them. Now, it's Iranians and it's time to crush Iran.

About security, It's also true we have very loose security. I agree. our system could be better. That swine flue sensor was pathetic. Could you be any more pathetic then a temperature detector?
Oh, Johnny has a fever, He must have swine flue. Oh, lets hospitalize him. That's only one way of damn bad security, but there is more.
Also another good point that fake e-mail made was the fact that government doesn't take emergencies seriously. Look at the swine flue alone. That speech made by biden was a Joke. It was completely hopeless. That's what I'd expect for parents to tell there first grader, not a vice president to tell the United States.
The unpreparedness with U.s. folks is another one. Just look at family life, and you can see all the flaws there.

No no, you get it all wrong, 9 11 was caused by the government, I saw it in an email from *insert name here* secret agent of Malta]s Royal Booty call secret service.
All jewish people failed to report to work on 9 11 so they must've known about this, them and the lizard people, who are really aliens.
Aaah yes, the U.S. shall crush all other nations, and they still don't understand why the country is becoming increasingly irrelevant in the world, met with suspicion and mistrust.
And we can just not go to malls, avoid all public gatherings and shoot all cows in case they turn out to be filled with explosives, oh and close the border with Mexico, only swine flu and illegal workers come across that border right?
Also make everyone go through a 15 hour security check at airports and have all planes searched, disassembled and reassembled before every flight to make sure no explosives are hidden there, burn any peace of luggage left in any public place without questioning and nuke the Iranians, only then will this world be a better place. And when are we going to invade Canada again, isn't it about time, they must be hiding Bin Laden, I mean, he hasn't been found for close on 10 years now despite the U.S.'s biggest efforts,or may be he's one of those lizard people and now dwelling on Mars.

Wow lol, Rachel scares me a little. I'm kind of glad she's only a sixteen- or seventeen-year-old girl still in school.

Lmao Dan and B. Yeah being prepared and aware is one thing, but there's definitely a line and quite a lot of people have apparently crossed over into paranoia, which is not a good thing at all. It can do just as much damage as ignorance. Having plans for your family is good but I agree with Nehemiah, living in a constant state of just waiting for the next attack is sad and unnecessary.

Post 12 by Sword of Sapphire (Whether you agree with my opinion or not, you're still gonna read it!) on Monday, 11-May-2009 20:58:48

wildebrew, you're just fuckin' hilarious! Lololol!
And ... uh, Rachel? You might wanna calm down just a little bit. I see your point, but I don't think being as violent as you desire we ought to be will get us anywhere these days. And with the whole torture and interrogation thing that transpired during the time of the Bush administration, our reputation is already stained and cracked.
And remember: Someone can nuke the U.S. just as easily as we can nuke Iran.

Post 13 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Monday, 11-May-2009 21:17:10

On a more serious note. It really should be the end of cowboy politics, because they have unforeseen consequences. The invationof Iraq gave Iran a lot of extra power and influence in the region and the way the U.S. treated Syria added to Iran's allies since Syria had no other partner to turn to. Finding some sort of a viable solution in Palestine would go a long way towards shifting the sphere of influence back in pro western favor, and for that the U.S. has to be viewed as a partner for peace, not defender of Israel only. Even so I just don't know if a solution will ever be found.
Regarding the threats, you can spend your entire life making plans, for hurricanes, earth quakes, scary in-laws, serial killers, Thanksgiving sales *2 or 3 people were crushed to death at the latest Wal=Mart sale, so it's crealy dangerous), volcanic erruptions, food poisining, fires, terrorism, random shootings, disfunctional brakes, Taco Bell going out of business (man that'd be scary), but you can also just live your life to the fullest, prepare for the most likely of dangers (fire protection at home, make sure your kids are as safe as possible) and realize something will get you some day, be it a man with a gun (hey, if Dick Chaney is hunting in the neighbourhood, stay in-doors, nor near a window) , a drunken driver or cancer.
With regard to nukes, North Korea is the country the most freaks me out at the moment, that's something we should be worrying about more than Iran, at the moment anyway.

Post 14 by Siriusly Severus (The ESTJ 1w9 3w4 6w7 The Taskmaste) on Tuesday, 12-May-2009 7:59:25

Damn straight. (sighs) Don’t you all understand this is really not a joke and this is serious! If you think it’s so funny, why don’t you take this issue over there to the joke board, and you can invite all your playmates there, but not here.
Also, however do you plan to debate about islam when you don’t even understand it? Go, read up on Islam, religion, or whatever it is, get some brain cells and come back and give me some proper reasons instead of playing this foolish game. The games’s over! Why do you all find this Al Gor style Exaggeration game so amusing and why do you insist on playing it? Isn’t it enough to exaggerate about global warming. Haven’t you have enough fun with global warming already?

Really, it’s really not so funny when you are trying to debate here and there is a bunch of others who only want to play this funny Al Gor style exaggeration game.

Other countries isn’t looking down at us because we are powerful and bombing them. On the contrary. We have weakened with the election of Prezbo and other countries look down at us because of it. We are a fairly weak power now. The whole pirates ordeal showed you. They are really looking to get us because of it. We were once strong and they loved us. FDR was strong. The U.s. was powerful and dstrong then. Perhaps not rich, but very set and down to earth. We bombed Japan right after they bombed us. FDR wasn’t in to throwing a tea party for our enemies in the 1930S and 1940S. British royalty loved him. They wrote him a letter. They were praising him and asking FDR for a favor. Eleanor Roosevelt went overseas and everyone loved her. We had bombed Japan, and you didn’t see anything major. Also, for those of you who might argue that Islam is not a country, I say bomb and crush the whole middle east. It’s not a country, it’s mostly extremest Islamists over in the middle east. Iran, Iraq, India, packastan, Palestine, and a few other countries.

For the flue thing I’ll only say this. It’s not the trick of taking longer to be better. Time doesn’t matter, it’s quality here. Get some better equipment and get ridd of that shit that is in use for security check now, and completely replace it. Stop stalling and pretending everything is green. Don’t fake yourselves, folks.

Yes, If terrorists, flues, and not so sanitary things is coming here, it is our responsibility to close the border. We are to protect our people first and foremost. This is your country and my country. I don’t want a chance of getting sick and opening the border is really risking it. Who cares if someone must come over. They will need to find another way if need be. It’s nnot our job to worry about people in Mexico. We the U.S. have to keep well, and clean. If it takes blocking the border, then we must do it. The U.S. government is not responsible for Julio or Eddie from Mexico, the Mexican Government is. The U.S,. Government is responsibil for the U,S. population. And it’s well being. If Swine flue comes from Mexico and will harm people, it’s essential to block the boarder.
Say, Maria is sick and has a deadly disease that is contagious, are you going to let Maria in to your house and allow your family to be infected?

Why should Mexicans come over here to possibly harm us?

Iran is clearly guilty, so what proof is there that Canada is guilty? If Canada is hiding bin laden, then, yes, we have a right to go there and shoot him on site. There is no proof however, but Iran is proven to be guilty.

No, I don’t mean we should expect an attack every second, but we should have the plans, equipment, and means of doing something at hand. It’s never good to be unprepared.

So, you are telling me that when we have or might have one of the original planners of the 9-11 we should not torture them to get valuable information out of him? This person can harm us again, and if we get information from him we could track down the originators. Now, what’s better than that?

Of course anyone can Come and bomb us now, but we must get them first and crush them before they get us.

Post 15 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Tuesday, 12-May-2009 9:48:05

Wow, whee to begin? Firstly, Rachel, get your geography straight, India is not a part of the middle east, nor is it a muslim country. The muslim regions, more or less, split from India and formed Pakistan over 50 years ago. India is, in fact, one of U.S.'s best partners for technology and in manyother areas, in fact the U.S. made a nuclear development treaty with India 2 years ago.
Secondly, what, exactly, is Iran clearly guilty of, before you start writing extremist statements (your post is as extremist as anything I've seen from Bin Laden .. he claims the U.S.invaded his country and they have the right to bomb and retaliate, you claim Iran has invaded the U.S. on absolutely no ground, there's no difference between these two). If you're referring to 9 11 most of the suicide bombers were from Saudi Arabia, the U.S.'s strongest ally in the middle east and without its oil the U.S. economy would collapse.
So if a man from the UK shoots 20 people at a Mall in upstate New York, should we go bomb the UK? That's what you're saying about 9/11, we'd have to go invade Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and a few other countries (interestingly enough neither people from Iran nor Iraq took part in 9 11, although you probably wouldn't know about that). The invation of Iraq gave Iran all the power boost they could ever ask for and the invation of Afghanistan, so far, has only served to multiply its output and smuggling of drugs to harm markets in Europe and the U.S. without doing anything to root out the taliban.
And the rason the U.S. is unpopular on the interntional stage is that they've lost all respect, they've stopped playing by international rules, disregareed international treaties and disregard all the humanitarian rules and respect they helped set up in the first place. They've also probably created quite a few terrorist enemies. I klw if a country held me for 5 years, tortured me and could not even come up with reasons enough to accuse me in court, I surely would feel hateful towards the country by now, rightfully so. The U.S. doesn't even have evidence to prosecute the detainees, even after all the torturing.
Without Mexican work force there would be drastic price rises across the U.S. economy, we rely heavily on woerkers, legal and illegal, who are willing to work their butts of for $5 an hour to keep our pools clean, to harvest our crops, clean our hotels etc, these people work extremely hard and I have nothing but respect for them. Sure, no one should live anywhere illegally, but they only come here because there's demand for them and it is something nobody seems willing to address.
I'm hopeful the country is regaining some of its lost international respect and I hope and pray people like you never ever get anywhere close to a position of power, because then the U.S. would become twice as bad as its enemies, enough harm has been done already.

Kill all minorities, they're taking OUR jobs. This is clearly why you hardly ever see a white male as a bank teller or behind the cash register at a fast-food establishment. Tell me how many american born whites you'll see wiping down the tiles in the restrooms of your corporation's headquarters. And better yet, tell me how many american born whites are taking care of your lawn (if of course we're still talking about mexico here).
Go ahead, let's stop outsourcing call center and factory jobs and things of that tsort. It's not like we do it in order to save our money over here by having those people work for piss poor wages.
Clearly, we have the means to keep all our labor here in the US and give EVERYONE fair pay because after all, anyone can live off minimum wage.
These suburban kids make me laugh sometimes. They're all into punk culture now and talk about anarchy and the problems with capitalism and our current government. So, you have young Conner over here with an existencial crisis who works at a coffee shop. Conner's parents are taking out student loans to pay for his college education and he's majoring in english. Conner uses his coffee shop money and gets an IPhone, along with the trips to the bar every weekend. Conner's really environmentally conscious as well and makes a point of eating organic foods. On the way to Whole Foods to get an overpriced meal, he runs into a homeless person who incidentally would settle for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich right about now, or even that dreaded food from the dining hall that people just toss away.
Poor Conner is facing a serious dilemma right now. He had plans to travel in the summer but is reluctant to stay in a hotel because the [mexican] housekeepers there will give him the flu.

Hell, exterminate all the mexicans. We need to protect against the flu so that we may continue to have unprotected sex with many anonymous partners. Gay people and Africans only get HIV and AIDS.
Someone want to get me a face mask so I can start wearing it when I commute until we bomb Mexico?

Post 19 by Sword of Sapphire (Whether you agree with my opinion or not, you're still gonna read it!) on Saturday, 16-May-2009 20:38:58

Wow, Rachel, you need to think before you type. Also, it's obvious that you don't think about consequences and outcomes of situations. Too, when you have an opinion, try looking at it from different perspectives. That helps too. Well, it should anyway.
And by the way, you could torture someone all you want, but that doesn't mean that they will release true information to you. They could say anything they want just to stop the torture. And how would you know whether it was true or not? You wouldn't.
We import so many products from other countries that we wouldn't be able to function properly as a society if we bombed any of them. We don't even use our own oil. And we don't have the money to start using it either. We don't even buy all of our oil anymore. We're just over in the Middle East, stealing their oil like their land is ours just because we're there.
We don't need to crush anyone. Look at the war on terrorism and the interrogation tactics used by the Bush Administration. Then, ask yourself: "Where has vilence truly gotten us?"
Acting vilent toward others may gain respect for ourselves, we're not here to get respect. Society doesn't function and operate on respect, and neither does the economy or government.
